EPDM hoses are generally used as delivery pipes, which is divided into conveying hose and suction hose. Various types of cloth inserted hose are made of different materials according to different transmission medium, with reasonable structural design, good quality and durability. EPDM hose is a flexible hose used for conveying or absorbing (negative pressure condition) various liquids  fluids and solid matters like powders and other mediums. The minimum blasting pressure of the hose is four times of the working pressure.

EPDM is short for Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer, a terpolymer of ethylene, propylene and non-conjugated diolefine. Diolefins have a special structure, only one of the two bonds can be copolymerized, unsaturated double bonds are mainly used as an intersection chain. The other unsaturated chain is not going to be the polymerization backbone, it’s going to be the side chain. The main polymer chain of EPDM is completely saturated. This property enables EPDM to resist heat, light, oxygen, and especially ozone. EPDM is essentially nonpolar, resistant to polar solutions and chemicals, with low water absorption and good insulation properties. During the production of EPDM, the properties can be adjusted by changing the proportion of those three monomers, the ratio of ethylene to propylene, the molecular weight and its distribution, and the vulcanization method.
