Rubber cushions are generally made of rubber, and are a kind of rubber products used to control the impact and shock from the outside when the rubber rebounds after absorbing vibration.

Rubber cushions have different shapes according to different use environments, but it has a feature that is long life when in use, can be used in any environment, corrosion resistance, high and low temperature resistance, which is very important for production in industrial. Of course, it is often used as a support or connector in vehicles, ships, or instruments and meters. It can buffer vibrations well in bridges and buildings, and it can also be useful to contain for some adverse consequences caused by vibrations.

Rubber materials used for shock absorption purposes are generally divided into 4 types, namely NR, SBR, BR are common rubber materials; NBR is used for oil-resistant vulcanized rubber; CR is used for weather-resistant vulcanized rubber; IIR is used for high-damping vulcanized rubber. Although NR has a small loss factor, it has the best overall performance, excellent elasticity, good fatigue resistance, low heat generation, small creep, good adhesion to metal parts, cold resistance, electrical insulation and processing properties. Therefore, NR is widely used for shock absorption purposes. When low temperature resistance or weather resistance is required, it can be mixed with BR or CR.
