This guide breaks down key performance data and matches them to real working conditions.


Temperature Resistance

· EPDM: -50℃ to +150℃. Excellent for outdoor, water systems, HVAC, and automotive cooling.

· NBR: -40℃ to +120℃. Ideal for oil-related medium-temperature environments.

· Silicone: -60℃ to +230℃. Best for high-temperature, food, and medical equipment.

· FKM: -20℃ to +200℃ (short-term 300℃). For extreme heat in engines and heavy industry.


Oil Resistance

· NBR & HNBR: Strong resistance to fuel, lubricant, and hydraulic oil. Top choice for engine seals, hydraulic systems, and oil pipelines.

· FKM: Outstanding oil and chemical resistance. Suitable for harsh corrosive oil conditions.

· EPDM & Silicone: Poor oil resistance; not recommended for oil environments.


Pressure Resistance

· Standard seals: Up to 10 MPa for general equipment.

· Reinforced NBR/HNBR: Up to 30–40 MPa for hydraulic and high-pressure systems.

· FKM with reinforcement: Up to 60 MPa for ultra-high-pressure machinery.


Industrial Scene Matching

· Water, air, HVAC, outdoor: EPDM seals.

· Oil, hydraulic, engine: NBR or HNBR seals.

· High-temperature, food, medical: Silicone seals.

· Extreme heat, corrosion, high pressure: FKM seals.
