With the increase of room temperature vulcanization materials and the appearance of high temperature vulcanization, the vulcanization temperature tends to two extremes. From the improvement of curing efficiency, it should be considered that the higher the curing temperature, the better. But in fact we can not infinitely increase the curing temperature.

Rubber is a high polymer, high temperature will lead to cracking reaction in the rubber molecular chain, resulting in cross linking bond fracture, that is, the phenomenon of "vulcanization back to the original", so that the physical and mechanical properties of vulcanized rubber decline. For example, when natural rubber is vulcanized under high temperature, the oxygen dissolved in rubber increases its activity with the increase of temperature, causing strong oxidation, destroying the structure of rubber and reducing the physical and mechanical properties of vulcanized rubber.
